There goes Dr. Sawbones
Creeping down the alleyway
Looking for a victim
The game of chance is underway
He is biding his time
Fleeting through the cabarets
Searching for a subject
To bring about the Judgement Day
There goes Dr. Sawbones
Slipping through the underworld
Peering through your windows
Conspiring for your blood
He is stalking the night
Just as happy as can be
Waltzing through the graveyard
Praying for an entity
There is this longing for blood

Did you know, that a 'sawbone' was a nickname given to doctors and medics during the american civil war, because they would saw off so many body parts due to the war and sickness?? They would saw through flesh, muscle and bone, while the soldier may bite on a lead musket ball to help with the pain. Hence the term "bite the bullet".
Then they'd through the discarded body part in a heap, sometimes feet high, and heat up an iron prong used for a fireplace and put it to the wound, to clot the area. Then go on to the next person.
