Helps me focus. Though they don't last very long. I always end up just munching and chewing on the candy part. Oh well.

Anywho... I, for one, am still alive. That means that there will be more chapters of Learning to Fly, as well as more FABULOUS artwork from Moi.
I'm going to Washington for the winter break, but I will still attempt to do some writing.

There have been multiple bomb threats to all of the Highschools in the district, and there have been quite a few anonymous tips about what may happen at the assembly tomorrow. First, allow me to explain the assembly. Every highschool is supposed to have an assembly tomorrow in order to recognize the different clubs and activities aside from sports. Now, apparantly, some of the seniors from all four highschools have been making plans for this assembly. Supposedly, a couple seniors from each highschool are going to go into the assembly that their school is having, armed to the teeth with semi-automatics and are going to shoot up the entire school. Not a lot of people are going to school tomorrow, and all of the assemblies are cancelled until further notice. All of the schools, highschool and otherwise, are in full lock-down mode all day, as they have been all week. We have six police officers patroling the hallways, and all but two side entrances, the main front entrance and the main back entrance to the schools have been locked, with councelors and police guarding the four doors that are unlocked. In order to get INTO the school, you must have your student ID with you to prove that you are supposed to be in the school, and if you aren't (For example: a parent trying to get into the building to pick up their sick child), then you must have your regular licence and they will pull up your file on a handy-dandy police computer thing.
Most of my friends are staying home.
Guess who's going to school tomorrow!
That's right, me.
(I'm actally considering skipping and hanging out with Psy... Shhhh.... don't tell anyone...)
I'll submit a picture of Krampus or something after school if I live, just to assure you guys that I'm alright.

Also, on a completely related side-note (It really isn't all that related to the topic at hand):
The job interview went WONDERFULLY. They want me to come in the Thursday after the break with my Birth Certificate and Social Security Card so that they can help me set up my tax info, and then I'm off to a paid orientation! WOO!!
